Students may study 1 or 2 academic terms in a foreign university, validating courses, previously approved by the Director of their program.
Payment method
- Academic exchange: Students will continue paying UPC’s tuition fees.
- Study Abroad: Students will pay the host institution’s tuition fees.
Pre-requisites
The following prerequisites must be met to participate in an Academic Exchange / Study Abroad:
- Apply the term prior to the beginning of the program.
- Being enrolled in at least 12 credits, when applying.
- Have 80 academic credits approved, or 60 academic credits if your grade point average is in the upper third percentile, for undergraduate students. For EPE students, at least 20 academic credits approved.
- Have a current and a grade point average higher than 13.
- Must not have any debts with the university.
- Must not have disciplinary sanctions during the application term, nor before traveling.
- Must not be at academic risk during the application term, nor before traveling.
- Other specific requirements may apply, depending on the academic program, the foreign university and UPC.
- Other pre-requisites the academic program at UPC might have.
